Los Veganeros plot
"…death (eat)'s but half a life."
Alma is 94 and is still a passionate environmentalist. For her, the rainforest is being cut down, the Germans are eating more and more meat and the animals are being raised in fattening farms for consumption. The retired lady seeks contact with like-minded people through an advertisement in the newspaper and thus meets kindergarten teacher Vicky, who is a vegan. The two become good friends and meet regularly at the restaurant 'Los Veganeros', where environmental activists plan their actions.
