“You seem to be getting more pregnant these days.”

Moving movie. Juno has a light-hearted tone, but underneath there is certainly an impressive story about teenage pregnancy and how Juno deals with it. Very pragmatic and businesslike at first sight. Inform boyfriend and parents, arrange adoptive parents and squeeze the child out so that it can be handed over to the adoptive parents. And no contact in the future please.

Everyone understands that it is not that easy and gradually the film becomes a lot more serious. The strongest point of the film is the strong script by Diablo Cody. Great dialogues, strong acting and smooth directing do the rest. With Page as a wonderfully sarcastic and pragmatic centerpiece. An impressive film that will certainly put a smile on your face.

Not convinced.

Juno was a comedy that had been on my list for quite some time, but really just never got around to it. When he suddenly stood in the collection of a KLM passenger plane but looked. I knew right away that this wasn't really going to be my film.

Far from successful, especially in the comedy field. The jokes are simply not funny, exaggerated and sometimes even painful. Some of the types walking around here are really to cry. The story itself is also not much, and most of us have probably seen it before.

The message comes across weakly, but the film is successful on a human level, and especially in the second part of the film, the film comes across as human on a drama level, so I wouldn't turn the film away completely.

Tight 2.5*

Comedy is always dependent on culture and geography. "Judo" is not an exception to this rule and the subject of the film, the child of reading, is a current and delicate subject. The strong point of the movie can be considered its good script. "Diablo Cody was first persuaded by the film's producer, Mason Novick, who had already signed him for his memoir, to write a screenplay beforehand, which became Juno". He was able to get the Oscar for the best non-adapted screenplay for this film.
