Io e Caterina plot
Enrico Menotti (Alberto Sordi) is a highly learned engineer who has developed a beautiful device. He is so fond of his machine, which he has named Caterina, that he is almost in a relationship with 'her'. The problems start when a friend of Enrico's comes to visit him in his apartment. Caterina becomes jealous and threatens to destroy the entire apartment.
