"Most people live in China. But who lives in Norway?"
Gas station owner Lasse spends most of his time restoring his old plane and dreams of flying it through the air. He hardly pays attention to the stories that take place at his gas station in the 24 hours before Election Day. A man gets a nasty surprise when he lets his family in the car for a short dip in the water. A cow eats a cell phone. A lesbian couple loses their child. A blind girl and her brother raffle dubious tickets to a lottery. A boy falls in love with a girl at the gas station. A man picks up a cheeky hitchhiker. Three girls with motorcycle problems get help from a man in his pajamas. And finally, nine old men meet a young girl in a swamp. Inspired by eight Norwegian political parties.
