Flashback plot
Charlie is a high-ranking, cynical lawyer who believes in nothing but himself. After her umpteenth winning plea, she meets a strange driver, Hubert. He drives her back in time to meet women who fought for equal rights for women. So they go to the French Revolution, the glorious 1930s and the First World War.
