Ferdinando I° Re di Napoli plot
In the evenings, King Ferdinand disguised as a vagabond in the working-class neighborhoods of Naples. In this way he experiences how people really think about him. His infatuation with the female star of a theater company makes him at first not recognize the revolutionary message of their play.
