"Putting the normal in paranormal."
Rose, a loving driving instructor in a small town, is gifted with supernatural abilities, meaning she can converse with the spirit world. She has a love-hate relationship with these abilities, after seeing what they did to her father Vincent. She tries to ignore the constant, petty, spiritual requests of the locals. But when Sarah is asked for help, she is tempted.

And so our humor and film. The fact could perhaps have been elaborated a little better, now and then the punchline is just a bit too bland. But overall it was a nice film to spend over an hour and a half of your time on. With humor it's just that one likes it and the other doesn't even spend a smile on it. It's a pity that not many films have been released in this area lately and that's why we were surprised with "Extra Ordinary". Maeve Higgins plays, as so often, a bit hypothermic and the one who experiences everything (it seems) for the first time.

As said, a nice film with a nice rating of a 7!

This was a crazy, daring and original movie. I like Irish humor. Love the Derry Girls series too.
Little goofy, flat, no nonsense type of humor. I find it endearing.
We really had a great time with it. Fortunately, this flick does get a high rating on Rotten Tomatoes, because I don't think this rating is entirely fair.

Nice debut.
Always nice when a comedy also has an eye for the visual. The film has a funny story but it wouldn't be very startling if the execution wasn't so neat. The link with Ghostbusters is easy, the film itself makes a joke about it, but it is more in line with the Taika Waititi comedies. The Irish also makes it a bit more fun, although the film could be a bit sharper at times, the fun atmosphere and the heart is in the right place.
Wondering if the makers can take it one step further next time.
Definitely don't pass up folks. Deserves a little more attention.
3.5 stars.
