Amazones plot
Four women from Breda-North are tired of their penniless lives. Lot, Sam, Reneetje and Kers take matters into their own hands and after some preparation they rob a bank near them. Much to their surprise, they easily get away with it. Unfortunately, their life does not remain without problems, because the police are slowly discovering more and more about the perpetrators. When it almost gets too hot for them, they decide to commit their last heist.

Despite the fact that I remembered this as a fairly bad film from Dutch soil, I now have to change my opinion a bit after a review. I wouldn't call this a bad movie. Monique van de Ven and Susan Visser do a great job, the role of Monic Hendrickx was not bad but a bit unremarkable and I personally thought Georgina Verbaan was a bit less. Yet Verbaan's character more or less 'relies' on the other three, so that her performance is not annoying. There are also several laughs in the beginning at the clumsiness of the characters (eg when they start ''practice''). Too bad the humor seems to wane a bit after the first heist and the film seems to want to take a more serious side. The film doesn't get boring, but it immediately becomes a lot less interesting. The concept of the film is nice, but the execution is sometimes a bit less. It is certainly entertaining, but not of a high standard.

In terms of storyline, it's all just entertaining enough for a viewing, but the humor is usually too weak and the acting is often a bit too exaggerated to be able to speak of a decent film.
