De Gaulle plot

May 1940. France faces a disastrous military situation vis-à-vis the German army. Charles de Gaulle, the newly appointed general, joins the government in Paris while Yvonne, his wife and their three children remain in the east. With Petain's defeatist stance ready to negotiate with Hitler, De Gaulle has only one goal: to keep fighting. Alongside thousands of French families, Yvonne and the children are soon forced to flee the advancing German troops...
