Camus plot
The last ten years in the eventful life of Albert Camus. In 1951 he publishes "L'homme révolté" which angers the surrealists and the existentialists. These react furiously in the magazine "Les Temps Modernes" led by Jean-Paul Sartre. A year later, Camus and Sartre break up for good. Meanwhile, the situation in Algeria is deteriorating. In 1956 Camus makes a peaceful plea for a solution to the conflict. At the same time, he publishes "La Chute", in which he criticizes existentialism. A year later he receives the Nobel Prize in Literature.
