Seen this movie so many times I could dream it. Came across it on Netflix and thought: let's see how I look at it now. While watching, I actually remembered very little.
As an adult I don't get the satisfaction, of course, like I used to and actually he was a bit disappointing. It fits in the vein of Disney, but that was exactly what I found disappointing. There seems to be a lot of stolen from certain films from Disney and the biggest comparison can be made with Beauty and the Beast.
The film contains some very nice characters and especially the animals, the film is actually drawn by them as well. The rest is all a bit meh, we all know it already.
Still, I don't want to give this film enough credit. That has not so much to do with how I view it now, but how I looked at it in the past. After all, we are talking about a children's film here and as a child I really loved it.
