The Incredibles plot

"No gut, no glory"

mr. Incredible is a superhero. At least, he was, until a load of lawsuits ensured that all superheroes were given a new, anonymous identity by the government. Bob Parr, as Mr. Now called Incredible, he lives a normal life with his wife Helen (the former Elastigirl) and their three children (Violet, Dash and Jack Jack), which he does not like at all. When he gets the chance to play the role of a superhero again, he grabs it with both hands.

The Incredibles is both a parody of the superhero genre and an ode to the old espionage movies of the 60s, including James Bond of course. The music of Michael Giacchino is also strongly reminiscent of the film score of that famous film series.

The film continues the upward trend of animation and is also packed with excellent humor. The lightning-fast kid Dash in particular steals the show. The action is beautifully portrayed.

Surprisingly, the film hasn't gotten a sequel yet.

“Just like old times, huh Bob?”

Ingenious animation film about superheroes. What I love about The Incredibles is that the characters really come to life and the movie looks great too. mr. Incredible is a kind of cross between a superhero and James Bond, who also has a family. His wife (Elastic Girl) and children also have special powers and as a team they eventually have to defeat the bad guy.

The humor is a bit hit and miss and in the end it actually just becomes a bombastic action movie, but everything that goes for it is excellent. The whole story of superheroes being forced to make a normal living is well thought out, especially the beginning with Mr. Incredible trying to live normally but keep putting his latex suit back on is very funny. Beautiful graphics, fun characters and an original story. Example for many animation films.

Due to the excellent summer part 2 with the kids recently missed at the cinema. Then take another look at the first version. The incredibles remains a very nice Pixar. A film full of action and spectacle and very fine humour. Visually, the film still looks very neat.

The great thing about The Incredibles is that the film is also so recognizable with many characteristics that you can link to other films. James Bond is often discussed, but the plot of Spider-Man, X-Men, to a lesser extent Batman and even True Lies (Arnold Schwarzenegger) flashed before my eyes. Even the jungle scene made me dream of the planet Endor of the wookies from Star Wars episode VI. And further building on this animation film, Big hero 6 was also given a nice format. Like so many Marvels, this genre of super hero movies is inexhaustible.

The story is just strong with super heros living among the common people and assisting them in disasters or in the fight against crime. Until complaints come from the egocentric fellow man and the superheroes in hiding have to live on. For Bob, it's hell not being able to be himself anymore. And so this Pixar also contains a moral. The characters also appeal to the imagination, with Elastigirl in the lead, which has very versatile useful properties. In short, a great animated film that I will continue to enjoy.
