The Flight of Dragons plot

Peter Dickenson, a young Boston writer, accidentally discovers a strange gate in his house. Unable to control his curiosity, after stepping through the gates, he is astonished to discover that he has entered an age where wizards, dragons and monsters still exist.

I think this cartoon is way too scary for little kids, and not really funny enough for older ones. I didn't find much to like about it, at least not at all.
