"Does our dream always come true as we expected?"
Chi is a young woman who was born in Taiwan. As a child she dreamed of a better future, so she worked hard to study in the United States later in life. She moved to the other side of the world, where she found an American husband in addition to a good job. When she receives a call that her grandmother has passed away, she returns to her homeland. She visits her family in Happiness Road, the old neighborhood where she grew up. There she looks back on her childhood, her life at school and the time she spent with her beloved grandmother. Chi has made the American Dream come true, but is she really happy?
