Mr. Hublot is a withdrawn, headstrong man who suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). He prefers to lead a lonely life in his small apartment, because he is afraid of changes and the outside world. One day he sees an abandoned robot dog in the garbage and rescues him. He takes him home and the dog makes Mr. Hublot very happy. But the dog grows big, forcing Mr. Hublot to take steps he never thought possible before.
