Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms plot

After the events of 'Scorpion's Revenge', Raiden, Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade and Jax Briggs return to Earthrealm. Their home appears to have been attacked by the enemy forces of tyrant Shao Kahn. As a result, Raiden and his band of warriors are forced to participate in a defining Mortal Kombat in Outworld. The bloody tournament will determine the fate of the rich. Scorpion simultaneously searches for the Kamidogu, a mystical relic created by the Ancient Gods, before a mysterious evil returns and destroys the universe.
