Long Long Night plot

Norden, who was raised by elephants for reasons never revealed, is a sensitive, peace-loving creature — and, as he will eventually discover, he is the last white rock rhinoceros on Earth. When he reaches adulthood, he leaves the elephant orphanage of his youth and roams the world at his own discretion, running with zebras through swaying grass and gazing at the endless night stars. One day, Norden finds others who look like him. He falls in love and has a child, but his family idyll is short-lived. Soon, he attempts to escape from a zoo…
