When the little fish Kevin is dragged into a net, he finds himself from the vast ocean into the glass aquarium of a New York restaurant. He must figure out a way to escape and find his way back to his beloved family in the ocean. Together with his new friends and the help of a trusted human companion, the restaurateur's son, Kevin embarks on the journey of a lifetime.
