When Sam's mother falls ill, he has to visit his cousins who live in the countryside for a while. Sam is a real city boy and he doesn't like the thought of being in a house with no electricity. However, after a heavy storm, a cow is missing. The children decide to look for the cow together, on the 'Devil's Hill'.
