La Fuga plot

The French intervention in Mexico is in full swing. As Benito Juarez's Republican forces approach Mexico City, a group of pro-imperialist supporters flee on a stagecoach to the port city of Veracruz. However, a French lieutenant demands intimacy from one of the passengers, a young Mexican prostitute, in exchange for allowing the stagecoach to continue its journey. The lieutenant tries to woo her, while her fellow passengers pressure her to accept.
