Bingo plot
"More hip than humanly possible."
Bingo is a circus dog who is badly treated and one day decides to run away. He goes in search of freedom and hopes to be accepted in the loving environment of a hospitable family. Coincidentally, he saves little Chuckie from drowning. Although the two immediately become friends, Chuckie has to hide the dog because his parents don't want the animal in their house. When his father has to move for work, Chuckie has to leave Bingo behind. However, Bingo doesn't stop there: he crosses the country in search of Chuckie and has many adventures in the meantime.
