Huckleberry Finn is a boy who flees from his alcoholic and short-tempered father and meets on the island of Jackson the escaped Negro slave Jim, who hopes that he can earn enough money in a northern state of America to buy his wife and children free. Together, Huck and Jim sail down the Mississippi on a raft, getting into all sorts of predicaments along the way.
