Against the Sun plot
WWII. Three US Navy pilots crash their torpedo bomber into the South Pacific. They only have a small lifeboat without food, water or other facilities. The trio are left to their own devices to survive starvation, storms and shark attacks, and somehow send their lifeboat to safer places.
