The Hatfields and the McCoys plot
America, late 19th century. Between the Hatfield family from West Virginia and the McCoy family from Kentucky, a bloody feud has been going on for years. The patriarchs of both families are Devil Anse Hatfield, a former Confederate soldier, and Randall McCoy, a former Confederate soldier. The intensity of this feud between the two families varies, sometimes there are even moments of peace, but they are short-lived. The romance between Devil Anse's daughter Rose Ann and Randall's son Johnse, however, turns this feud on edge.
