T-Force plot

"Created to Obey"

Terrorists occupy the US embassy. Many hostages are brutally murdered by them. The case seems lost and the innocent people involved are doomed. Within minutes, however, all 30 terrorists are dead. 'T-Force' has sprung into action, a team of robots with human traits who crack down when laws are broken. When innocent people are killed in a fight, the plug is pulled from the T-Force project. This decision forces the robots to turn against the creators and objectives of their program and give their all in their struggle for survival.

How is that possible? After watching a handful of films by the duo Richard Pepin and Joseph Merhi, I was convinced that these were a pair of incompetent, do-it-yourself directors. Their films, set at the bottom of society, were badly filmed, badly acted and utterly boring.

But here Pepin is directing and not Merhi, so maybe that's the problem. Maybe Pepin is the better director of the two and Merhi is a huge klutz who can write the screenplays better.

T-Force is their version of Universal Soldier, and you can tell right away that they had a huge budget to work with (for them). The sets, costumes, sets and explosions look very good and the quality of the images has improved a lot compared to their older work.

Bringing in actors like Vernon Wells and Jack Scalia also does a lot of good and the actors that are in the T-Force also do well.

The fact that the film sags a bit towards the end doesn't matter anymore, because it's a really tasty '90s action film!

3.5*

Nice. A b-action movie that does what it has to do in terms of action, and that is to entertain. And that entertainment is definitely there. The movie gets off to a good start when the American embassy is taken over by terrorists. Then the T-force comes into action, which enters with a lot of violence. It is an opening that sets the tone for the rest of the movie. The movie is fast-paced, with the action scenes following each other in quick succession. Lots of bullets and explosions, weak acting and a story that is very similar to Universal Soldier. T-Force does not disappoint and is a nice result for a b-movie.

Today I watched this film for the first time on a Blu-ray disc with very good picture.

A group of terrorists take a bunch of people hostage in a hotel, and to free them they let a group of ''robots'' free the hostages with a lot of shooting and explosions, you would think this was the movie but it doesn't go quite as planned because some hostages are also killed and so the ''robots'' are punished and they don't stand for that and so they take matters into their own hands and kill everyone who gets in their way, later one of them gets out and helps the police to catch the other group.

Fortunately, the film is not set in one location, but also in the desert, police station and other locations.

All very nice and also quite a few explosions and well made.

I enjoyed this and there is also some humor in it when the cyborgs find a sex book and want to imitate it

All in all a nice ''Universal Soldier'' clone.
