Stop, Look and Listen plot

Luther Meek is a well-bred, small-town man with a fame-hungry lover named Dorothy. She persuades him to support a touring show in which she is the lead. On the show's opening night, while the stage fright-stricken Dorothy is confused during her first performance, the stage manager and Dorothy's ruthless stepbrother rob a bank. Luther is subsequently blamed for the crime.
