A film that started quite promising. After Will Gerard, played by Nicolas Cage, is helped with revenge on his wife's rapist, a return service is demanded from him with all the consequences that entails.
The first hour is very manageable. It's mysterious, suspenseful at times, and I didn't even mind Cage's acting.
Unfortunately, the last forty-five minutes are appallingly bad and the film is full of illogical plot twists and clichés.
It's a shame that the film derails so much because the beginning was promising with a nice role from Guy Pearce as badguy.
Small insufficient.

After the strong start, I was confident that Nicolas Cage had finally landed in a good movie again. Unfortunately, it all becomes more and more absurd and far-fetched, and as soon as the conspiracy and the criminal organization come into view, there is little of the mystery and suspense left. From a drama/thriller, Seekig Justice turns into a B-level action movie, complete with incredible plot twists.
