RRR plot
"Rise, Roar, Revolt."
In 1920s Delhi, a tribal protector tries to free a child taken by the governor from his tribe. A police officer wants to arrest him to get a promotion. Both hide their identities in order to do their job. When they meet, a bond develops between the two men.

Because of all the stories about the great success, I expected a little more. Don't usually watch Bollywood movies, but this is just the stereotype you can expect. Maybe slightly higher quality due to the budget than the standard. A lot of slomotion, bizarre and often unrealistic action and especially the British acting is to cry. But yes, it was fun for once.

Cool Tollywood movie! Just entertaining. Netflix only has the movie in Hindi while the original is spoken in Telugu. Watched the movie in India via ZEE5 in original language and really enjoyed it! It's over the top and maybe not very realistic, but that's what makes it so much fun to watch. Better than the average Hollywood movie of today. Unbelievable how Bollywood has been overtaken by Tollywood so quickly. Also found the movie more entertaining than Bahubali. For those who liked this, Pushpa: The Rise (also in the original Telugu language) is also recommended.

If you look back to 2022 and look up some lists of good films, you will soon come across RRR. But just start a Bollywood film of 3 hours long! The trailer already looked good, the comments are positive and you can just watch it on Netflix. After putting the film aside for a long time, I watched it anyway and have absolutely no regrets.
RRR is a wonderfully over the top action movie. Nice and exaggerated with a whole series of action, tough scenes, great stunts and the necessary humor. One that throws Fast & Furious, Expendables and Jackie Chan into the mix, throws another big shovel on top and then finishes with an Indian sauce. No idea if this movie is representative of other Bollywood action movies, but I did enjoy this one. Right on the end of the year lists!
