Pardon My Past plot
"It's the promise of a rare good time!"
Recently discharged soldiers Eddie York and Chuck Gibson are on their way to Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, to start their own mink farm. While they are in New York, Eddie is mistaken for wealthy playboy Francis Pemberton and taken to bookie Jim Arnold, who owes Pemberton $12,000 in gambling debts. Arnold confiscates Eddie and Chuck's savings of $3000 and demands to get the remainder the next day. Eddie and Chuck search for Francis to get their money back, but now that he's in Mexico, everyone in the Pemberton household believes that Eddie is Francis...
