Few places in the 1960s were as calm and peaceful as Thailand's Chumporn province, where people still live old-fashioned ways. This tranquility is cruelly disturbed when one day the body of a man is found along the banks of the river. Then one by one villagers disappear. When one investigates the disappearances, one discovers strange large tracks that could only have been made by a monstrously large animal.
