Many consider oil fires to be the most difficult and dangerous job in the world. This is exercised by a handful of specialist-tough intrepid fellows who, at the first sign, go to every corner of the world when a fire breaks out there. One of these men is Chance Buckman. Together with Greg Parker, among others, he managed to contain one serious fire after another. His fame increases and with it the demand for his services. But the nervous effort is enormous for both himself and those close to him. Each new quest is a new awesome and terrifying battle against a blazing inferno with life at stake...
