"Some things were never meant to be controlled."
When climate change threatens the planet's survival, governments worldwide unite in the creation of the Dutch Boy Program. This program covers a global network of satellites armed with technologies to avert natural disasters. After two years of successful protection, something goes wrong that leaves two estranged brothers tasked with repairing the disturbance before a global Geostorm engulfs the planet.

Actually a remake of Armageddon, but with an (even) dumber and unnecessarily complicated plot. It's not that hard to guess who the bad guy is here, as there are few surprises at all in this umpteenth nonsense Yahoo action movie that mixes clichés with political correctness. It all makes no sense, not even in IMAX 3D, but the meager attempts at humor miss the mark. Those who cannot switch off their brains may be annoyed with me by the many plot holes and the illogical twist, but those who like to be overwhelmed by a lot of noise and spectacular effects will probably be pleased to hear that not one, but several world cities be laid in ruins. Yippee ki yay!

Saw this movie tonight. What struck me was that the flags of the 17 countries that took part in the project did not include that of Russia. Because if there is a country where people have absolutely no taste for space travel, it is of course Russia. And they also showed how to save Moscow by NASA. I don't think this movie will be a hit on Netflix Russia.
