"Tough cop. Hostile witness."
Rock Keats and Archie Moses are best friends, and have engaged in several minor offenses over the past year. Everything changes when they become involved in a major drug smuggling operation. Rock Keats turns out to be Jack Carter and an undercover cop. Moses agrees to testify in the case on one condition: Carter must act as an escort. What the two former friends don't know, however, is that criminals want to take out Moses.

Actually quite a nice action/comedy with good roles from Damon Wayans and Adam Sandler. The latter was also the most comical. The story is not much and is quite cliché but the cast knows how to make something fun out of it. The movie doesn't last very long either, so it wasn't really boring either.

Disappointing.
Sandler really does not fit this role, as an action hero he is worth three times nothing. That scene where he escapes a motorcycle is the low point. Furthermore, standard buddy-cop stuff, the twist does little to change that.
A bit of a weird mix with more typical Sandler humor (like the lodge), those are the better parts of the film. Also some poor action scenes, although they seemed to have budget (with the exploding plane?).
Well, I think it's mainly something Sandler wanted to do. Take part in a real action/comedy once. Luckily he didn't repeat it after that, because it really doesn't make sense and it was still pretty boring for the short playing time.

Pretty entertaining and Damon Wayans & Adam Sandler do a pretty good job together. Story is of course very standard and the twists at the end can be seen coming from miles away.
Yet the film has a nice atmosphere and it is not all that annoying to watch, probably also because the playing time is exactly 80 minutes until the credits come.
Standard piece that makes me long for films like Rush Hour, but at the same time I can get on with it.
