It's 2017. Steel Harbor is the last free zone in Civil War-torn America. Barb Wire is the super-sensuous and trigger-happy owner of a raucous nightclub and a fearsome bounty hunter. One day she is surprised by the visit of the man with whom she once had a stormy relationship. He is now the leader of a group of freedom fighters and on the run from the police. Wasn't expecting it, but just watched it and thought it was a very nice movie. Nicely filmed, little story, lots of action. And Pamela Anderson is just a crazy vamp. Beautiful person, and she acted better than I expected..

A flop 100 film with only positive stories on the last page. Amusing. I totally agree. Barb Wire is entertaining pulp, with a Pamela Anderson on the brink of breaking (seriously, how is she breathing in those suits?) and highly entertaining performances; what about Clint Howard and Udo Kier? Cool names! The neo-noir like setting with a Mad Max / punk-ish dilapidated world gives it a nice atmosphere. Underrated no-nonsense film... it really isn't that bad.

Entertaining movie. The post-apocalyptic atmosphere is nicely portrayed. The combination of steampunk and 80's Sunset Strip rock outfits works well. The story is nothing special, but the film has enough momentum to keep it interesting until the end. Popcorn entertainment, and camp, but I could enjoy it.
