2023 has been a huge year for cinema, with the summer period flourishing thanks to the releases of Barbie and Oppenheimer. The movies were released around the same time and many theater-goers actually did the double-feature, which was affectionately named 'Barbenheimer'.

Killers of the Flower Moon - 18th October, 2023
One of the most highly-anticipated movies of the years is Martin Scorsese's new historical epic, Killers of the Flower Moon.
Official premise:
'Members of the Osage tribe in northeastern Oklahoma are murdered under mysterious circumstances in the 1920s, sparking a major BOI investigation directed by a 29-year-old J. Edgar Hoover and former Texas Ranger Tom White, described by Grann as "an old-style lawman."'
It is based on the non-fiction novel Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI written by David Grann.
Should you head to the theater for this one, prepare for a long shift as it clocks in at a whopping three-and-half-hours.

Malibu Horror Story - 20th October, 2023
We are approaching Halloween and this weekend's horror helping comes in the form of Malibu Horror Story, directed by Scott Stone.

'Malibu Horror Story follows a team of amateur paranormal investigators as they delve into a 10-year-old unresolved case, the disappearance of four popular high school boys on graduation night. While exploring a sacred cave in the hills of Malibu California, the team encounters chilling paranormal occurrences. As they analyze footage from the missing teens' camera, they make a terrifying discovery involving an ancient curse which forces them to confront their own worst fears and unravel the sinister truth behind the boys' vanishing.'
