Donner Pass: The Road to Survival plot

It's 1846 and a group of settlers embark on an almost impossible journey to California. Within the group, disagreements soon arise when a leader should be chosen and it is unclear what exactly is the best route. In addition to these internal problems, however, they also face a Native American raid, food and water scarcity, and the harsh laws of nature that seem to make it increasingly difficult to reach the ultimate goal of settling on the American West Coast.
