Lewat Djam Malam plot
In the months following Indonesia's independence, we follow Iskandar, a medical student and war veteran. He feels disillusioned in the post-war era and feels betrayed by the corruption and mismanagement around him. Ultimately, Iskandar flees from the authorities in a city that, after the revolution, is still under curfew.
