I took a chance on this one and I thought it was a fine film, but I liked the predecessors (Paranorman, but especially Coraline) better. There the story was more surprising.
Visually, this is certainly not inferior and it looked very good.
Also, the voices were nice.
Nice to have seen.

The story may not be that great, but it's an excellent excuse to stage phenomenal clay animation, set design and the very nice voice actors (Elle Fanning is especially great with her posh Brits). And that provides for an hour and a half of top entertainment.

It did little to nothing for me.
You can see that it is made of good quality,
That's why I can't give enough.
But I didn't like it much.
That this film would be suitable for six years and older is downright absurd. *3.0
