Hundraåringen Som Klev ut genom Fönstret och Försvann plot

"For a century he's made the world uncertain, and now he is on the loose again."

A 100-year-old man, Allan Karlsson, decides it's not too late to start over. For many, it would be the adventure of a lifetime, but Allan's unexpected journey isn't his first. Allan escapes from his home, takes a suitcase at the bus station that turns out to contain millions of crowns, befriends a few strange characters along the way and kills his criminal pursuers along the way. When the police want to catch him, the corpses appear in completely different places and nothing can be proven. Based on author Jonas Jonasson's debut novel and bestseller.

Some scenes were so witty that I almost shit my pants laughing. For example, that part where a younger Allan is examined by a "racial biologist" who measures the length of his penis and then asks him in that comical Swedish if he has Negro blood. Or the scene with Ronald Reagan who is approached by his gardener and then reacts very dryly with: 'The wall stays! Do you understand me, motherfucker?'

I didn't have to do that with the elephant, those jokes weren't anything to write home about anyway.

Successful comedy both in the adventurous flight and in the equally wonderful life story.
A lot of hilariously funny scenes The plan with Herbert Einstein, to name just one. that also includes witty dry humor in dialogue and sayings.
Good performances and the film was rightly Oscar nominated for the make-up.
A big 3.5 (on the edge of a 4)

I think we can call this the Swedish version of Forrest Gump (Film, 1994). With the exception of Vietnam in Forrest Gump a much less romantic view of a biography of a strange maladjusted man. But no less comical for that. That opening scene, for example, was an instant hit. I lay flat on dynamiting that fox. And a little later it turns out that this was not just a one-time inspiration. On the contrary, it was Allan Karlsson's second trademark to energize anything.

Just like in Forrest Gump, we step into the life of the main character and he meets many historical figures on whom he has an influence. The Cold War, Franco, the atomic bomb ... these are discussed with a few historical contexts.

In addition, Allan also lives in the present and is unwittingly being chased by a rabid biker gang. The chemistry with his partner in crime is good and the idiotic misunderstood police officer should not be missing either. There, too, the absurdity of the story, including the cold store or the elephant. Good humor in advance, nice!
