Only a year has passed since Allan Karlsson's last adventures. Now the old man enjoys a dream life with his friends on the beaches of Bali. But his lavish lifestyle means he doesn't take his finances into account, and as Allan's 101st birthday approaches, he's running out of cash. To celebrate, Allan opens the last bottle of 'Folksoda', still from his old days of espionage and which was the Soviet answer to cola and rock music. The taste gives Allan a new idea: he starts a search for the recipe of the delicious drink. However, there are privateers on the coast...
