In this sequel to "He's a Woman, She's a Man", Sam (Leslie Cheung) and Wing (Anita Yuen) decide to move in together. Sam takes her roommate and friend Fish with him. To the outside world, Wing still pretends to be a man. When she becomes a hit, everyone thinks Sam and Wing are gay. Sam has a lot of trouble with that and their fledgling relationship is starting to show the first signs of cracking. The situation worsens when androgynous pop star Fan-Fan (Anita Mui) appears on the scene and becomes romantically involved with both lovers.
