Grand comme le Baobab plot

The story is set in a rural African village where a teenage girl, Coumba, hatches a secret plan to save her 11-year-old sister from an arranged marriage. The father decided on this marriage, as a result of an accident that threatens the future of the family. This creates a clash between the old and the new world in rural Africa. Love, hope and sacrifice are things that take different angles through Coumba's struggle.
