Tösen från Stormyrtorpet plot

Helga (Greta Almroth) becomes unintentionally pregnant, but the father does not recognize the child. Helga's parents insist that their daughter sue the father. On the way to court, Helga encounters and befriends the handsome Gudmund (Lars Hanson). The lawsuit ultimately comes to nothing, but when Gudmund learns of Helga's situation, he offers Helga a job as a housekeeper for his family. Everything is going well, but problems arise as the wedding day approaches for Gudmund and his wife Hildur (Karin Molander).
