"A Daring Fable of Modern Love"

Marthe (Karin Molander) is secretly in love with her uncle, Professor Carpentier (Anders De Wahl). Meanwhile, Carpentier's wife, Irene (Tora Teje), is in love with Baron Felix (Vilhelm Bryde), while family friend Preben Wells (Lars Hanson) in turn loves Irene dearly. Professor Carpentier is not even sorry about the fact that his wife flirts with other men, because he himself has someone else in mind.

A rather dull silent film that may have been hot according to the morals of the time, but hardly makes an impression today. Our aunt may be crazy about men, but you can't call her a bomb at all.

Neither does her husband, who comes across as a dorky professor. He pays more attention to his beetles than to his wife. Fortunately, the niece still brings a little fun.

Those various affairs and amorous love paths do not make much of an impression. The use of color is very bright, mainly orange-yellow. During the also "erotic" long opera I switched to green and bright red. Nicely restored, yes, but the content is quite dull.
