Sensation Seekers plot
"SHE'S THE GIRL OF A THOUSAND THRILLS!"
Ray Sturgis, the leader of a group of fashionable bon vivants in Long Island, is engaged to 'Egypt' Hagen, a young woman who is modern in every way. Egypt is arrested in a raid on the illegal drinking establishment 'Black and Tan'. Reverend Norman Lodge manages to get her released after pleas from Egypt's mother. At a costume ball at Huntington Bay Country Club, where Ray wears a suit made of headlines about Egypt's arrest, Egypt is insulted. The churchgoers then see Egypt more and more in the company of Reverend Lodge instead of her fiancé Ray, which leads to gossip.
