The film is said to be about a young woman with a compulsive neurosis. Other than a few scenes in the beginning, I didn't notice much of that unless I missed something. The film mainly deals with gardening and uninteresting characters. Not even Tom Wilkinson can save the furniture.

Quirky, self-absorbed neurotic characters serve as comic relief in this story of Bella [Jessica Brown Findlay], a bookworm with a fascination for nature, attempting to clean up neighbor Alfie's [Tom Wilkinson]'s overgrown garden within a month. so that the impatient landlord [Paul Walker, the British actor that is] doesn't evict her. Enough eccentricity, but the humor feels a bit forced and it is mainly due to the charisma of the actors that this does not get boring.

Quirky comedy where the story kinda lags behind. By the way, is there a cultural name for this typically British style of hipster frumpiness?
