"Life is a journey you never have to take alone."
The film follows three sex addicts in their struggle to function in society, while maintaining a meaningful relationship. Adam (Mark Ruffalo) tries to form a relationship with Phoebe (Gwyneth Paltrow), a wild independent woman who has renounced dating addicts after breaking up with an alcoholic. Mike (Tim Robbins) is married to his high school sweetheart, but becomes as addicted to his recovery program as he is to the sex. Neil (Josh Gad) hides a camera in his tennis shoe to secretly film under women's skirts as he tries to convince his friends that he can live without sex. They all have to deal with their addiction, which leads to several hilarious and unusual situations.

Good film about three different men with a sex addiction. The three main characters are portrayed believable and you get a clear picture of their problems. The course has few surprises and perhaps it is a little too thick here and there, but this is well taken care of by a fine cast.

After seeing this overwhelming piece of drama about obsessive sexuality, I found the title of the film very catchy. They are actually fellow sufferers where understanding is self-evident and this is an essential part of recovery. The film has received criticism for its rudderless nature between drama and comedy. I myself do not understand that comment, since humor can actually alleviate the seriousness of addiction problems when we talk about sexuality. As adolescents we all learn to break the ice in this way, so basically it has never been different. The least experienced actor is pop diva Pink and she made a good impression, chapeau!

A film about a number of people who are in a support group and try to help each other to get rid of their sex addiction. That is a separate subject and it also took me a while before I knew what to do with this film. It wasn't a relief documentary after all. But really a movie. And when the stories got a little more shape and the characters of the main characters were also developed a bit better, in the end a nice film came to the surface. It's not a high flyer, though.
