"Blacula! - Dracula's Soul Brother!"
After being bitten by Count Dracula, Manuwalde - an African monarch - turns into a vampire and is locked in a coffin. About two hundred years later, the coffin is moved to Los Angeles by two antique dealers. The merchants open the chest and let Blacula escape. Soon Blacula finds Tina - his reincarnated wife Luva - whose heart he conquers. Tina's friend - Dr Gordon - soon discovers that Blacula is actually a vampire...

Count groovy! Wonderful blaxploitation. Symbolic for the genre. Beautiful role by Marshall, what a fantastic voice he has; a great asset, especially in this type of role. Costs and effort have been saved ( 
) to turn it into swinging cult cinema. Striking soundtrack, effective horror elements (scene in the morgue is fantastic), but the last half hour in particular is one big chunk of cheesy entertainment. Indeed an absolute must for anyone who likes blaxploitation.

Funky dracula yow! This does exactly what I expected/hoped for. Dracula but seventies afro style. Good soundtrack, bad cinematography, and cool characters. Cult classic.
