“Dumb & Dumber” meets “Smokey and the Bandit”. If you like fast cars and if you don't mind disgusting dialogue, rude jokes or the lack of a plot, then you should not miss this film. For anyone else, watching it is a sheer waste of time. 1* for Bradley Cooper.

The film had potential but it's all 'just not'. Sometimes the humor is good and a road movie is always fun, but that nagging between slipper hero Yul and his annoying girlfriend Annie -although in the beginning still 'cute'- quickly becomes very irritating and takes all the momentum out of the film. The whole time I was saying, "Just leave that bitch on the side of the road and drive on, man!"

“You're going to have a wonderful day today. You don't have to be nervous about anything.”
Smooth action comedy with nice interplay between Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell. Married in real life, and it shows. The dialogues look natural and it seems as if a lot has been improvised. That benefits the film, and luckily Shepard knows how to keep the momentum going. Nice supporting roles by Cooper, Arnold, Bridges and Bryant, beautiful cars, an airy atmosphere and summer conditions. Hit and Run is great entertainment.
