Daikyojû Gappa plot

An expedition in the South Seas lands on a tropical island where the inhabitants worship the mysterious Gappa. During an earthquake, the ground opens up and a baby reptile is discovered in a cave underground. The islanders warn the expedition members to leave the island and leave the reptile alone, but they don't listen and take it back to a zoo in Japan. Shortly afterwards, Gappa's mother and father set out to find their "abducted" son in Tokyo.
